Good Samaritan Youth Hero: Zayyan Saunders
Bristol, Pennsylvania
On March 13, 2010, Zayyan was enjoying a Saturday morning in his home when he noticed his grandmother lying on the bed, unconscious. When Zayyan couldn’t rouse her, he immediately called 9-1-1 and explained the situation to the dispatcher. The paramedics arrived on scene and were able to treat his grandmother’s diabetic shock.
Zayyan’s clear-headed demeanor and calmness in the face of a scary situation makes him a Real Hero in the community. Bristol Township School District is proud to have him as a student.
Zayyan is in 2nd grade and enjoys playing basketball.
